Real Estate Development

How many developers have a history and track record of success like ours?

Major projects over the years have included the original development of Canton Commerce Center in a joint venture with Boston Sand and Gravel. That 360 acre office/industrial park was successfully completed with eight buildings and the remaining land was sold in 1988 to facilitate other investments.

In 1984, the Keller Company entered a joint venture with the Mack family for development of Assinippi Park. Assinippi is an 160 acre office/R&D park located in Norwell. There have been several projects developed in Assinippi since 1985 for such outstanding firms as Scudder, Stevens & Clark; Serono laboratories; Nynex Information Systems; Mentor Opthalmics; Kluwer Publications and Guardian Life.

During this time period, Keller Company also started a number of surburban multi-tenant office park projects including Bare Cove Executive Park and Southwood Pointe Business Center both located in Hingham, MA. The three buildings developed here included such tenants as Liberty Mutual, General Mills, Coca-Cola, Metropolitan Life, A.G. Edwards & Sons, Paine Webber, American Express, Fleet Bank and`US Life.

In 1995 Keller Company purchased 55 acres of land remaining in the Foxborough Business Center in Foxborough. Foxborough Business Center is a former Cabot, Cabot & Forbes project and is home to a 235,000 square foot Commercial Union office facility, their largest office facility anywhere, along with three other large office projects and a Marriott Courtyard Hotel. Since acquisition by Keller Company, the New England Headquarters for Pezrow Foods has been developed along with a Marriott Residence Inn and a restaurant as additional amenities for this office park. Ground breaking for the new 80,000 s.f. corporate headquarters of Intellution took place in November 1999. Intellution is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emerson Electric.

In late 1998 Keller acquired the 90 acre Pembroke Business Center in Pembroke as a light industrial/distribution park and completed a new 40,000 s.f. facility for Wolters Kluwer, NV in September 1999. In 2005, construction began on a 240 unit 40B apartment complex which was sold to Trammel Crow.

A new 174,000 s.f. manufacturing facility for Harvey Industries, located in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts was completed in June 1999. This building was done on a build-to-suit basis.

In Hyannis, build-to-suit projects were done with UBS, Nutter, Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, Charles Schwab, N.Y. Life and Arbella to list a few.
